Purple Love respects your privacy. This policy explains what we collect and why, in line with the EU/UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Nigeria Data Protection Regulation (NDPR).

Stories you share

We collect your name (unless you post anonymously), email, story, approximate location and any photo. Your email is never shown publicly and is used only to contact you about your story. Locations are rounded so only the city or area is visible — never an exact address. Stories are reviewed before publication.

Assistance requests

Requests for help are private. Your contact details and description are encrypted and can only be read by authorised Purple Love administrators. They are never published or shared with third parties without your consent.

Photos

You must have permission to share any photo. We do not publish images where recipients — especially children — can be identified without consent from them or their guardian.

Newsletter & volunteers

If you subscribe or volunteer, we store your email and details to keep in touch. You can unsubscribe at any time.

Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or permanent deletion of your data at any time by emailing hello@mypurplelove.com.
